Salford Gasworks Celebration Mural

A community project working with Ordsall Community Arts and Salford residents, many of whom worked at the old Salford Gasworks. In early 2019 the gasworks were due to be demolished and this Arts Council and Lottery funded mural design project was intended to give the community an opportunity to share fond memories of working and living around Salford Gasworks. The residents art directed the project, selecting imagery, writing copy and editing proofs.
