





I assisted a group of young people around the ages of 15-20 from Sefton CVS, who were curating a small temporary exhibition at The Atkinson, Southport. The group interviewed a number of retired musicians who were prominent in the Liverpool music scene in the 1950s and 1960s, many of whom had been contemporaries of more famous Liverpool bands such as The Beatles and Gerry and the Pacemakers. The ‘Play It Forward’ exhibition featured audio interviews and photographs and was intended as an archive for future generations, telling the stories of these musicians experiences gigging in clubs in and around Liverpool
