Kevin Lloyd is a graphic designer and art director based in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, working collaboratively with other like-minded design professionals for clients within the arts, heritage, museums and culture.
With 13 years experience within the arts, heritage, museums and culture sectors, I have a particular passion for music, popular culture and helping museum clients tell their stories through design.
I primarily work with National Portfolio Organisations (NPOs) managing budgets from the National Heritage Lottery Fund (NHLF) to design and art direct museum exhibitions and heritage interpretation.
I also have experience working with arts organisations who offer outreach projects in the community, to groups of young people often from minority or disadvantaged backgrounds. I also work closely with museum trustees and 'friends of' groups, to help them deliver contemporary design for exhibitions, marketing and events for their venues.
As a designer and a dad, I am always learning, and am currently looking at ways we can improve museum design for adults and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
